Our members are continuing to do research on the history of our chapter, and will post this information here as it becomes available.

Our chapter was the eighteenth formed out of the current 159 local chapters of the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors. Our "Mid-America Regional", now jointly sponsored with Chapter 26, is the longest continuously running NAWCC Regional in the organization. Mid-America was first held at Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN. It has been held in Speedway, IN, Indianapolis, IN, and is now held in Fort Wayne, IN. In 1984, Chapter 18 was a joint sponsor of the highly successful National Convention of the NAWCC, held in Indianapolis.
